Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains how Daz Busby ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through www.dazbusby.co.uk. We are committed to protecting your privacy in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

When you use our contact form we collect the details you choose to give us:

For security and spam prevention, our server also records your IP address and the time of submission.

How we use it

We use this information only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go on to work with us, to deliver the services you've asked for. Our lawful basis is your consent (given via the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

We never sell or rent your details, and we don't add you to marketing lists without your separate, explicit permission.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and accounting obligations.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address when serving them.

Our apps

Admit VIP is offline-first: event and guest data is stored locally on your device. The app has no forced cloud sign-in and collects no telemetry, so we never receive the guest information you enter. Reports you export are shared only where you choose to send them. The UK Garrison Check-In app is a private edition of Admit VIP operated by the UK Garrison, who control the data entered into it.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email info@dazbusby.co.uk.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
